Our Mentors

Kelly Han — Founder and President

Hi! I’m Kelly Han, a sophomore at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. I loved reading books as a child, and still do! I participated in the Battle of the Books from third grade, all the way to fifth, winning some awards along the way — so don’t worry — you’re in good hands. Some other things that I enjoy doing are drawing, swimming, and talking to my friends! I hope you’re as excited as I am to be a part of Reading4All!

Ellery Nadal — Treasurer

Hi! I’m Ellery Nadal and I’m currently a sophomore at PVPHS. Reading is a big part of my life and I love all genres of literature, especially mysteries. Outside of reading I like hanging out with my friends, swimming, and playing volleyball! I am looking forward to being a part of this program!

Nick Yun — Mentor Coordinator

Hi, everyone! My name is Nick, and I am beyond excited to be a part of the Reading4All program! I attend Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, where I am also part of the baseball program. When I have free time, I enjoy reading works by authors like Anthony Doerr and Fyodor Dostoevsky. One of my goals is to show younger students how reading should not be viewed solely as an academic necessity, but also as a fun and relaxing hobby. I look forward to discussing pieces of literature and creating a fun learning environment for all!
